If you could try a different job for a day, what would you choose?
I would be a chef in a hot new restaurant; I like the energy and pressure.
What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
Focus on franchisee success as the main goal. It is the key to the rest.
What is your mantra?
“Work hard, be nice.”
How do you get yourself out of a slump?
My lovely wife picks me up, repairs the damage, and pushes me back out there.
What companies or leaders do you admire?
I am astounded at the vision of Amazon and Tesla’s leaders. While at the same time, I greatly appreciate Warren Buffet’s practical approach.
What has been the biggest shift you’ve noticed in your industry in the last decade?
Technology is a must everywhere.
Who has been most instrumental in your career?
My wife. Spouses of entrepreneurs don’t get enough credit. They hold it all together and make us look good.
What is your go-to celebration meal, drink or tradition?
