We’ve known Gal through his success in the accounting and finance consulting industry and through his involvement in the local business community, including FEI. Over the years, we’ve consistently heard about his reputation as a trusted advisor, a relationship-driven professional, and someone who genuinely cares about helping clients solve talent challenges. We’ve respected his work from afar, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team!

If you could try a different job for a day, what would you choose?
I would likely be a chef at a high-end restaurant. I’ve always enjoyed cooking and come from a long line of chefs, so the culinary world has always felt like a natural fit.
What advice would you give someone starting out in your industry?
I would recommend working for an organization that values training, mentorship, and teamwork. It’s important to recognize that building a strong professional network takes time and significant effort. Success also requires a willingness to handle rejection, especially early in your career. Maintaining a desire to continuously learn, demonstrating persistence, and having the humility to ask questions, even when they seem simple, are all essential qualities.

Attitude sets the direction. Effort drives the journey
How do you get yourself out of a slump?
I always come back to the fundamentals and focus on what is within my control. It’s important to keep things in perspective, as there will always be ups and downs in business. Successful leaders stay positive, learn from their mistakes, and continue moving forward.

What has been the biggest shift you’ve noticed in your industry in the last decade?
I believe the biggest shift in the last decade has been the advancement of technology. The speed at which we can connect with candidates, clients and co-workers creates tremendous opportunities, but it also requires discipline and attention to detail. It’s important not to become overly reliant on technology. I believe this remains a relationship-driven business, and meeting people in person is often invaluable for building trust and lasting connections.
Who has been most instrumental in your career?
I’ve been fortunate to work with many talented individuals and leaders throughout my career, and I’ve also had a few outstanding college professors who influenced me along the way. If I had to identify one person who had the greatest impact on me, it would be my dad. As a chef, he worked long hours, including weekends and holidays, yet he always maintained a positive outlook. He often told us, “If you can get up in the morning and go to work, it’s a good day.” When I didn’t pass the CPA exam on my first attempt, he encouraged me to keep trying and stay persistent. His attitude taught me the value of perseverance and the importance of never giving up.
What is your go-to celebration meal, drink or tradition?
To celebrate, I love grilling a dry-aged sirloin or porterhouse steak and enjoying it with a baked potato and broccolini while spending quality time with my family.
